Burp Clothes

A friend suggested that I make burp clothes for my sister, Jocelyne, who had a baby last Aug and I thought about even selling them, but I wasn't sure if they would be good or even if anyone would like them.
So, I made a few and had my sister be my "guinea pig".
I also wanted to give her something that I knew she didn't have.

Well, Jocelyne LOVED them and encouraged me to make more to sell . . . . . so here I am.

This is what it looks like spread out. I can customized the color scheme to your nursery depending on availability of fabric.
Here's the set of 3 for a boy

Here's a set for a girl

Each set will have it's own customized tag.

Right now, I only have these prints, but I'm working on different colors and designs.

I would love to hear your comments!!!

  1. I LOVE THEM!!!!! Super cute ....

And for all future viewers you will not regret getting yourself or someone special a set or two. Not only are they adorable and you can get them custom printed, they are a lot more absorbent than the average spit cloth. My baby was a spitter and spit up ALL THE TIME so anything absorbent that I could get my hands on was worth using.
After Janelle gave me my set I noticed that every time I used my other spit cloth it was DRENCHED and I had to throw it in the wash but when I used the one Janelle gave me it soaked up so much more and still had more dry spots and I could use it all day or majority of the day before throwing it into the laundry.
I would fold one flap underneath and put that side towards my neck and the other flap would be there to protect my arm. The middle piece was the perfect size for my shoulder. Mine have DEFINITELY gotten it's share of usage!!! You'll love them just as much as I do if you decide to invest in them!!!!
